Comedian, Writer and Actor
António Raminhos
António Raminhos spent his childhood in Olivais, in Lisbon. After completing his journalism studies, he began his professional career at the newspaper A Capital and shortly after at RTP. However, when he found himself unemployed, he decided to venture into the world of comedy. He took to the stage for the first time in 2006 and has been relentlessly pursuing his comedic talent ever since. He gained notoriety by writing for the Maxmen magazine and made a name for himself on television programs such as "5 para a meia-noite," "Dança com as estrelas" (Dancing with the Stars), "Missão: 100% Português," and "Esta Mensagem é Para Ti". In radio, one of his great passions, he contributed to the success of the "Café da Manhã" program on RFM and had regular segments on TSF. His tremendous success on social media is the result of the originality and relevance of his content. His bold online show "Banheira das Vaidades" (The Vanity Bathtub) has become an icon in the national scene. To date, he has a series of successful performances, such as "As Marias," "O Melhor do Pior" (The Best of the Worst), "O Sentido das Coisas... e Isso" (The Meaning of Things... and That), and "Não Sou Eu, É a Minha Cabeça..." (It's Not Me, It's My Head...). More recently, he launched a podcast titled "Somos Todos Malucos" (We Are All a Little Crazy), which he describes as a more accessible and professional version of the conversations he used to have on Instagram about mental health, our fears, anxieties, and doubts. These are candid, straightforward conversations so that, in the end, we can understand that, after all, we are all a little crazy
